Next row 1/2" border added to center.
We had so much fun with this little 1" border. We wanted something
simple and easy to finish the center medallion before moving on to the next row.
We love the look of a 1/2" finished sashing.

Oh that does set off the centre medallion in style! I can't believe one of the commenters in the original MBS QAL suggested a 1" border made it look like her original block was cut too small in error -- if she had seen this picture of yours, I'm sure she'd see how wrong she was (I think she was only reading the 'you can use your background fabric for this step if you wish' instruction). Beautiful !!
