My block is in Quiltmake'rs 100 Blocks magazine

My sisters and I are honored to have a block chosen to be in Quiltmaker's100 Blocks vol. #5.
Is this not the cutest pin and mug? Yes it is!
This block was designed by our sister Mary Andra.  She does all the hand applique' and as you can see loves pink and green. She tried using blue (I don't think so) but pink won out as usual. Mary Andra will be adding blocks in the future and we will keep you posted when that is completed. You will find her block on page 27, block #407 Ray of Sunshine. Fabric by Moda is Sunkissed designed by Sweetwater.
Now for the prize's. Quiltmaker will be giving away a copy of 100 Blocks magazine. There are four sisters who own Sisters' Quilting Trunk so we will give away four gifts. That's 5 chances to win a prize just by leaving a comment on our blog. We also have a copy of 100 Blocks to give away. It will be given to the first number drawn for one of the prizes below.
Henry Glass -Heirloom Romance by Crabapple Hill

Good luck everyone and thank you for visiting our blog. Winners will be drawn Monday May 7, 2012
Wishing you a great day, Mary Andra, Cheryl Ann, Candee and Andee.

  7. 4 sisters who quilt! Wow! I am the only one of the sisters in my family who quilt...one refuses and the other gets hives when she considers touching a needle and thread.

    1. Too funny. There is actually 5 sisters but one doesn't even do buttons. We all do different parts of the quilting process. I do the hand applique', hand embroidery and design. Andee does all the longarm quilting. Candee does most of the piecing. Cheryl Ann is the pattern writer, designer, and our artwork. None of this was planned. It was just what we were doing before we went into business. We sure are having fun.

My mother quilted it on her Singer while I was in school. It now graces my bed all spring long, almost as good as snuggling with my Mom.
